Greetings,
Here is the recipe for today…
Here is the recipe for today…
Job 16:6
Though I speak, my grief is not relieved; and if I remain silent, how am I eased?
What do you do when you think talking about something painful or stressful will relieve you, and it doesn’t? Or not saying anything at all about it, but remaining silent doesn’t work for you either? Well, you are left with one option of venting, and that is writing (journaling). Most of us don’t have the time or the interest in writing down how we feel.
Ask David how he wrote the Psalms, or Paul how he wrote the letters. They both would probably say out of a need to get what was on the inside, out. So I encourage you to write it out, it will bless you when you read it in the future. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
“Make your inward experience an outward expression”
Did you know?
-Journaling helps people experience a greater sense of emotional & physical well-being.
-Our minds work at about 1000 words per minute. When we write, the mind slows down to about 100 words a minute.
-Journaling decreases the symptoms of asthma, arthritis, and other health conditions, and it improves cognitive functioning.
