John 15:15
No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
We are not only God’s family, but we are also God’s friends. The world’s definition of a friend is meaningless compared to God’s definition of a friend: to lay down one’s life for (John 15:13). We may not get that love, affection, comfort, and security from people, but we can get that, plus more, from God. So stay encouraged and know that you are God’s friend. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
