John 15:7 (NIV)
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
This verse shows us the earthy benefits of remaining in the will of God. Remaining in the will of God is no longer living as a sensual being, and not being led by your five senses (sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell), but rather being led by the Holy Spirit. Asking God for the things you want in life requires you knowing His word, so that you can speak His language. So stay in His will, and stay in His word. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
