Romans 6:18
And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
No longer are you oppressed to sin, but now you are opportune for righteous. With this means is that you have a clean slate, a clear and leveled ground ready to build upon. This is given not only one time, but at all times with repentance. So will you let thorns and thistles grow on your grounds or will you set the foundation for greatness? Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

He will put instructions in your heart, and direction to your feet. So remain open and optimistic to His omniscience (all-knowing). Where there is no counsel the people fall.
Without counsel who teaches you how to love, treat, appreciate, and respect other people? If you do not have a positive role model, mentor, coach, teacher, or counselor then where will you learn? A wise person not only learns from there own experiences but also the experiences of others. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

2 Timothy 2:3 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
As a good soldier of Christ Jesus you must endure your share of suffering.
It is intense training that makes men and women into soldiers. Becoming a soldier is enduring pain, developing discipline, maintaining self-control, and overcoming obstacles. The more training you undergo the stronger you will become. So as a man or woman enlisted in God’s Army the same rules apply, but the benefits and rewards are much greater. So look at your trials, troubles, traumas, and tragedies as training. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Joshua 1:9
Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Whether we face recession, depression, oppression, digression or suppression God is with us. He is with those in the white house and those in the crack house. If He said that we are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the lender and not the borrower then it’s only a matter of time before the righteous stand up, stand out, and stand for His glory and His story (the gospel). So be effective right where you are. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
The thing about children is that they learn from what they see and hear. It is obvious to a parent who their child has been hanging around with as they adapt, follow, and copy their friends. God wants us to be imitators of Him, and it is obvious to Him who and what we have been hanging around or spending time with. So spend time with Him or around godly people so that you reflect His character. A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out.
Are you easily irritated, quick tempered, always agitated, tense or stressed? These are symptoms to a lack of self control. Others do not have the capability to change your behavior, only you do. A house without doors and windows is easy to enter into and steal from, vandalize, or exploit. So make sure that you equip yourself with durable doors, and wind-resistant windows so that people cannot enter your house without permission (guard your heart). Galations 6:2 New Century Version (NCV)
By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the law of Christ.
Jesus being God manifested in flesh even needed assistance with carrying His heavy cross at one point (Matthew 27:32). If you were there and saw Jesus bloody, sweaty, broken, smelly, and in pain struggling to carry the cross, would you talk about Him, offer Him your advice, criticize Him, look down upon Him, throw Him some change or ignore Him? Then why would you do it to your brother or sister who you see bloody, sweaty, broken, smelly, and in pain struggling to carry their cross. God’s design was to show us how we can help someone along their journey. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

For he who is least among you all will be great.
It doesn’t matter where you live, where you’re from, what you have, or what you have done, you have an opportunity to be great. Sometimes we associate success with prosperity or anything else tangible, but Jesus didn’t even have a place of His own while He was on earth. John the Baptist worked in the wilderness, and wore what was uncommon and looked poverty stricken. But they were both great in the eyes of God, Jesus being the greatest of all greats. When you give into righteousness you are led and fed by the fruits of the Holy Spirit to include: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. And the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.
God has blessings laid up for you, which will eventually find its way to you according to this verse of scripture. When you are seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33) your blessings will track you down like a heat-seeking missile. Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.
Learn what to look for in people. We often times highlight the negative behind a person, but learn how to look for the positive in a person. When God looks at us He doesn’t see us the way we see us. God sees the possibilities of a person, so why can’t we? Look beyond the outward appearance of a person, but look at their inward appearance (fruits of the heart). Sometimes the problem isn’t that you do not have the right instructions, but that you need the right directions. Knowing what to do is having the right instructions, and knowing how to do is having the right directions. Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land.
If you have been anticipating a move of God for quite some time then this scripture is for you. Sometimes we have to wait on God, and sometimes God has to wait on us, but the good thing about waiting on Him is that His timing is perfect. The things that you have believing God for may have not come yet, but they are on the way. Keep praying, keep believing, keep trusting God for it because He knows, He sees, and He understands all that you go through. He may not come when you want, but He is always on time.
