James 1:6
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
If you are waiting on God to move whether it be by word or action this verse is a good reference for you. First you have to ask in faith, and sometimes we have not because we ask not (James 4:2). Asking in faith is knowing that God will give you an answer, you just have to open your eyes, ears, and heart. Sometimes God even gives you an answer before you put your lips together to ask Him (Isaiah 65:24). Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
