I like the use of the word season here, because you cannot prevent seasons from coming or going. God’s blessings come in seasons, and just like seasons they can never be prevented but they can be postponed. So whatever season you’re in, know that seasons change, but God remains the same!!! Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Here is the recipe for today…

Ezra 4:4
Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building.

Sometimes those closest people to you will try and discourage you. They often say the first thing that comes to their minds without any regard to how you will take it. Like in this verse of scripture they will sometimes trouble whatever it is your building, but that is not a time to pause, that is a time to proceed. Not everybody will see what you see, feel what you feel, and go where you go, so stay encouraged. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Regard Him and He will definitely regard you. He wants to make an example out of you for everyone else to see. He wants to show people that He is real, His words are real, and His blessings are real and He wants to use you to do so. That is why you are going through what you are going through, it’s not about you; it’s about what is on the inside of you, greatness!!! For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

You cannot let your present circumstances define your future. God still has great things in store for you even in a declining economy, a broken relationship, a separated family, with no job and no money. He can do the impossible, by using the invisible; which means He has resources that you haven't even seen yet. So learn how to lean on Him during this tough time in your life. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Nehemiah 4:17
Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon.

Sometimes you have to fight as you build. The enemy doesn't want your wall (faith) to be restored so he will try to everything in his power to stop you. He will send things from every direction to slow down your progress, but that is just a sign that you are building correctly. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Jeremiah 18:6b
Look as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.

God is continuously molding you into that person He wants you to be. Like the clay in a potter’s hands He already knows what the finish product will look like, but it has to go through a process. This process may seem to hurt the clay but in actuality it helps shape the clay. Once the clay has been shaped it gets cuts and then thrown into fire. This fire gives the clay its final touches that make it worth significant value. Can you relate to the clay? Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.

Here is the recipe for today…

James 1:20
For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

You have to move beyond focusing on your feelings, and start focusing on your faith. When you focus too much on your feelings you give into some of those negative thoughts and behaviors that aren't beneficial to you. When you give into righteousness you are led and fed by the fruits of the Holy Spirit to include: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
