A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out.
Are you easily irritated, quick tempered, always agitated, tense or stressed? These are symptoms to a lack of self control. Others do not have the capability to change your behavior, only you do. A house without doors and windows is easy to enter into and steal from, vandalize, or exploit. So make sure that you equip yourself with durable doors, and wind-resistant windows so that people cannot enter your house without permission (guard your heart). Remember, in order to get Godly wisdom you have to retain Him in your knowledge by studying His word to get an understanding.
